Itinerary
This adventure begins with pickup from your hotel in a tourist vehicle. The first place to visit is the Chinchero archaeological site and the Textile Interpretation Center.
We will then head to the famous circular agricultural terraces of Moray. This archaeological site was very important during the Inca period, especially for agriculture.
Just a few minutes from Moray are the Maras Salt Mines, a picturesque place due to its landscape. Here we can see more than 3,000 salt pits. This salt was used by the Incas for consumption and is currently an important part of the local trade.
Afterwards, we will arrive in the city of Urubamba where we will enjoy an exquisite buffet lunch. We will then board the vehicle again to reach the archaeological site of Ollantaytambo. Once the visit is over, we will head to Pisac, the latter two being the most important.
In Písac, don’t forget to try the empanadas and take home some handcrafted souvenirs.
