- 03:30 am – Pick-up from your hotel and departure by tourist transport.
- 06:00 am – Breakfast en route.
- 08:00 am – Arrival at Phinaya (4,715 m.a.s.l.) and start of the guided hike.
- 10:00 am – Arrival at the Quelccaya Glacier – Suyuparina sector (5,500 m.a.s.l.), the largest tropical glacier in the world. Free time for photos.
- 12:00 pm – Descent and return to Phinaya.
- 01:00 pm – Typical lunch in Phinaya.
- 02:00 pm – Special stop at Sibinacocha Lagoon.
- 08:00 pm – Return to Cusco.
Program
This full-day program first takes you through the high-Andean community of Phinaya and then up to the Suyuparina sector, home to the mighty Quelccaya Glacier, the largest tropical ice cap in the world. The guided hike moves through high-altitude landscapes up to 5,500 meters, with free time to admire the ancient ice and take photos. On the way back, enjoy a typical lunch and a special stop at Sibinacocha Lagoon before returning to Cusco.
