Itinerary
Day 1: Uros Island and Amantani
We will start the day with a transfer from your hotel to the Port of Puno, where you will board a motorboat. Our first stop will be at the famous Floating Islands of Uros, a place where you will immerse yourself in the way of life of one of the oldest cultures on the continent. Then, we will head to Amantani Island, one of the largest islands on Lake Titicaca. Here, you will have the opportunity to share lunch with a local family and learn more about their customs. You will spend the night on the island, and if you wish, you can choose to participate in a hike to the ceremonial center of Pachatata.
Day 2: Amantani, Taquile, and Return to Puno
After an early breakfast on Amantani, you will continue exploring the island, observing the system of terraced fields and visiting highlights like the ceremonial center of Pachatata. Then, you will bid farewell to Amantani and sail to Taquile Island, known for its exceptional textiles. During a pleasant walk around the island, you will have the opportunity to visit craft shops and meet a local family. In the late afternoon, you will return to the city of Puno.
